A new MIME & MAIL (library MMAIL) release was made available on
January 9, 2006 and can now be downloaded from site
http://www.easy400.net .
Please find hereafter a summary of changes/enhancements (see also
http://www.easy400.net/mmail/start ):

1- MMAIL can now be installed also on V4R5 systems (previously, V5R1
was the minimum OS/400 release)
2- A PDF collecting all WEB pages on MMAIL structure and use is now
bundled in the mmail.zip installation file, and can be downloaded
from
   http://www.easy400.net/mmail/manual/MMAIL_Manual.pdf
3- An RPG search engine is now available within MMAIL. It allows to
scan all the HTML pages for a given argument.
A list of interested pages is displayed. The given argument is
highlighted whenever it appears in one of those pages.
The code of the search engine is made available and can be used
for other sites with small changes.
4- Command MMAIL/SPLFTOPDF has been added. It allows to convert a
spool file to a PDF stream file.
This command makes use of PDF conversion utilities already
supported within MMAIL.
Its advantage is that it automatically adopts your favorite PDF
conversion utility, the one you select via command MMAIL/CVTTOPDF.
5- Command MMAIL/MNGSPLF (Manage Spool Files) has been added.
This command is very similar to system command WRKSPLF, but it
A-Allows more granular spool file selection, such as spool files
generated from the current job, and spool files with a given name.
   B-Allows three more options:
a)e-mail a spool file (up to 50 receivers, through use of
command MMAIL/EMLSPL)
b)convert an SCS spool file to an IFS stream file, type TXT or
HTML (through use of command MMAIL/CVTSPLSTMF)
c)convert a spool file to an IFS PDF stream file (through use
of command MMAIL/SPLFTOPDF)

In this circumstance I want to thank Mr. Massimilano Toninelli,
ITALY, who originated the business needs this MMAIL release responds
to.
