Nobody responded but I did get a resolution from IBM support. I needed PTF
SI21112 on (5722-DG1) which is not part of the group PTFs.
I thought somebody else might run into this down the road.

The Apache server occasionally shuts down without notifying anyone. I am
running V5R2 and am current with PTFs.
The error log file has the following messages:

I have seen pointer errors in my code when I try to reference a paramater
that hasn't been passed by the calling program but this isn't my code. The
server will run for days without this happening and then all of a sudden it
just shuts down.
Any help would be appreciated.
