1. Is there a way to go through the tutorial without having to install anything on the AS/400?
- all tutorials/resources you need are available on the web. Check my list of links: http://www.mybis.net/itp/link.html 2. How can I install the tutorial on our AS/400 without QSECOFR access? - QSECOFR or equivalent is required. You need to be able to restore SAVF, add user profile, change authorities to install CGIDEV2 toolkit. The tutorials and documentation come bundled with it. 3. Will me installing the tutorial interfere with our current CGI developers settings/libraries? - Not a good idea. Re-instaling CGIDEV2 *may* trash your local production settings and programs if your friend did not set up a local server instance and libraries. If you can't come to terms with your administer, maybe rent some space on another machine (like John Ross' netshare400.com) until you can show that you are not a threat to him. Any help you can provide on this matter would be greatly appreciated. --- In [email protected], "penguined" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > I'm an AS/400 RPG programmer (of 6 years) and want to see if I can > start working on converting (as a hobbie) our existing software into > a web application.
