Hello EasyBuilders, We finally managed to get the new-style EasyBuild configuration properly documented, see https://github.com/hpcugent/easybuild/wiki/Configuration .
With that in place, we would like to point out that everyone is **strongly recommended** to step down from using any of the legacy/deprecated configuration options ASAP. The deprecated configuration options will be discontinued in EasyBuild v2.0 (whenever that happens is not clear yet, the next release will be v1.10). Details on which configuration options are deprecated are available at https://github.com/hpcugent/easybuild/wiki/Configuration#legacy-configuration-deprecated .
