With the dummy toolchain it would be using the system GCC if needed. Explicitly using GCC-6.2.0 has resulted in certain binaries not being build. > == sanity checking... > > == FAILED: Installation ended unsuccessfully (build > directory: > /nfs/grid/software/RHEL7-BUILD/easybuild/build/CUDA/7.5.18/GCC-6.2.0): build > failed (first 300 chars): Sanity check failed: no file of ('bin/fatbinary',) > in > /nfs/grid/software/testing/RHEL7/easybuild/software/Compiler/GCC/6.2.0/CUDA/7.5.18, > no file of ('bin/nvcc',) in > /nfs/grid/software/testing/RHEL7/easybuild/software/Compiler/GCC/6.2.0/CUDA/7.5.18, > no file of ('bin/nvlink',) in /nfs/grid/software/t > My initial thought is that you have a significant variance between with an older version of CUDA and a newer version of GCC. We've successfully built CUDA/7.5.18-GCC-4.9.2 for example. You may wish to try something similar.
