Dear EasyBuilders,
Heads-up: there’s a breaking change in Lmod 8.7.56 (released 5 Feb 2025)
which effectively makes it impossible to use as a modules tool with
EasyBuild 4.x, see

I strongly advise not upgrading to latest Lmod release for now...
The problem is being fixed for the upcoming EasyBuild 5.0 release in
https://github.com/easybuilders/easybuild-framework/pull/4739 .
Through https://github.com/TACC/Lmod/issues/743, I’m trying to find a
way to avoid this change breaking compatibility of Lmod with EasyBuild 4.x.
