Robert:
Heya. Due to the nature of free servers on the Internet...the
demo echoServer get's DOS'd every other day, and I need to manually
restart it. On the upside, this allows me to work out the DOS
vulnerabilities in the code...
Please feel free to email if you ever have connection trouble
with it. Once you have an echoServer loaded into EchoVNC, it will
auto-reconnect when the server comes back to life.
cheers,
Scott
I am unable to connect to the EchoServer with EchoVNC. It toggles between reporting
"connecting ..." and "disconnected". I have re-booted my machine and
re-installed EchoVNC without any change.
The setting for the EchoServer are the same that I have been using successfully:
Adress: demo.echovnc.com
Password: demo2005
In the Echo Server tab in EchoVNC the echo server is listed as unknown. When you add a
server, is the "User I.D." the same as the Partner I.D. (user selectable)? I
tried deleting and adding the Echo Server and that also did not help.
If the Demo Echo Server is down, is there another Echo Server available for
use? I need to access the remote computer today, if possible.
Robert
