Bill:

Heya. Just so I understand: you have EchoVNC installed on two
PC, a "main PC" running WinXP-Home, and a laptop running WinXP-Pro.
Both of these EchoVNC clients are connected to the demo echoServer
running at demo.echovnc.com. Correct?

If so, if you look in the echoServer tab of EchoVNC, can
you confirm that both clients are successfully connected to the
demo server? And, what user-ID's are they connected with?

Also, exactly what version of VNC Server are you running on
your "main PC" and your laptop PC?

thanks,
Scott

I am running xp home on my main (server). I have downloaded echo on both the computers. I am trying to make connection with my laptop. It is only for home use. My laptop is xp pro. The main makes connection without a problem. The viewer makes connection with the demo but when attempting to connect to my server I get a variety of error messages. Most of the time it is connection refused or it is not seeing my server connection to the demo. Can someone help? I did have connection with the vnc once before I shut down the laptop. Then I could not get it anymore That is why I decided to try echo.
