I have the same problem from time to time. I'm still trying to install
EchoVNC as a service for another reason. If that happens I'm thinking of
making a batch file that stop and start the EchoVNC service - that would
probably solve the disconnecting issue.

Lately I've been experiencing that I can't connect to another computer even
though it's connected to the demoserver. The partner is found but no
connection is made. If I then wait awhile and try again it sometimes work.
And when that happens I get the "VNC Viewer: Question" (The connection
closed unexpectedly. Do you wish to attempt to reconnect to
127.0.0.1::3662?) that's related to the first connection.attempt - but only
when the second attempt is made.

Is that just related to the demoserver or is it a general problem with the
echoserver application? Or is it just me? :o)

I'am using echoVNC and UltraVNC with demo echoserver.  When I start echoVNC
on both PC  (viewer with Win XP and server with Win 2003 Svr) I get
connection to demo echoserver and all things works fine.  My problem is
that if I retry some days after (2 or 3 days) when I click on "Start a VNC
Connection"  to connect to the remote W2003 PC , I get the message "failed
to connect to the partner Please verify etc...."  . To recovery I must
restart echoVNC on the remote.
Can this to be due to some limits (idle connection timeout ?) on the use of
demo echoserver ? Has anyone experienced similar problems ?
