Scott:

We downloaded EchoServer 1.50RC01 for Windows and have a few
questions/comments. First, we didn't lose any users in the setup of
the new version, but we did have to re-input passwords. Also, we now
have no interface to see who is connected under status and no logging
while using the Windows service. Do you intend to have the ability to
see logs and activity if the Windows service feature is used? Last,
we had to re-input our registration code.

We are glad to see that the Windows service feature for EchoServer is
now available and we understand this is beta.

Heyaz. Version 1.50RC01 of the echoServer is available for
download. Please note: this is BETA software -- stable, but not (yet)
perfect:

ftp://ftp.echogent.com/EchoServer/windows/echoServer_1.50RC01_Setup.exe

It now includes the (very sensible) capability of allowing the
echoServer to run as a Windows service. It does other things too, but
that's the big improvement.

        Feedback invited. Thanks!

-Scott
