However, when I try to start a VNC connection, I get the error "Failed to connect to the partner. Please verify that the partner has logged on to the echoServer and try again".

Just for kicks, I also verified that fast user switching is turned off, as well as remote desktop/access. Also, each machine is using session zero.
From everything I have read, I have both echovnc and realvnc set up correctly and this should work. Any ideas?
