Hi,

Just testing out EchoVNC, so apologies if this is a dumb question.

Installed Echo on my home and work PCs. My home machine connects to
demo.echovnc.com:1328 with no problem, but when I try to Add the same
connection to my work PC it comes up with a "Verify information" message and
then says that "Sorry... no echoServer could be found at this address"

I saw on the list that this might be due to the corporate firewall blocking
non-standard ports. I can add a connection to demo.echovnc.com:443 but I get
the error "Sorry...the userid/password you provided for this echoServer may
be incorrect."

I'm using the password "demo2005" in all examples, and all other settings
are default from installation. Both PCs are running Windows XP Pro. My home
machine is connected to the net via a USB modem, the work PC through a
router and dedicated line to the corporate network.

I'm guessing it's to do with my company's network setup, but as I understand
it that's what EchoVNC is supposed to avoid. Any ideas as to what's
happening?

Thanks,

James
