I have this "problem" also with the below software. Well it's just EchoVNC
2.32 server over Instant VNC.
I would also say that the network connection should be fine. The problem is
that when it happens it kind of locks up my computer when doing the
viewing.
I don't have patience to wait the reconnection of maybe half an hour so I
kill vncviewer.exe process and start it again and it works fine.
Is there somewhere I can tell VNC viewer not to reconnect? As a quick
workaround?

[Echovnc-users] Please wait while
31-03-2008 22:16 the echoserver reconnects
I am getting the message 'Please wait while the echoserver reconnects'
when connected with InstantVNC. This happens in most connection
environments.
The screen goes black on my viewer for a few seconds and I get this
message, then, it 'comes back', or, sometimes, it doesn't
In a 1/2 hour session I am getting this maybe 2 or three times.
VNC Viewer 2.32
Instant vnc 1.38
echoserver - checking the version - latest non-beta
This is a stable network environment on all ends, no packet loss.
