What about using InstantVNC? I have similar issues with echovnc, but sometimes 
it does not even allow me to click on anything.

Yes I have some issues. If I open the view on screen 1 it works fine. I
can drag the window to screen 2 and work fine except if I try to
maximize the window. When I do this the window simply disappears.
