Just a little update:
I did a test with pppoe over an ethernet modem, it worked without a
problem. So I know my PPP is alright.
I upgraded the kernel to 2.4.28, exactly the same issue. Only thing I
can think of is I am missing some kernel option but I have the options
from the FAQ.
eciadsl-doctor runs fine up un till it tried ppp and comes up with an
error: 'Failed to set PPP kernel option flags: Incompatible ioctl for
device.' However when I do ifup ppp0 I just get LCP timeout.
Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks,
