I downloaded eciasl-usermode-0.11beta1 driver, config it in graphy user interface. Then use "eciadsl-start" command, it report connect ok, say waiting for tap0. When I use ifconfig -a to see all the interface, I found it says like these tap0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:FF:A5:69:2E:F6 inet6 addr: fe80::2ff:a5ff:fe69:2ef6/64 Scope:Link UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:4 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000 RX bytes:0 (0.0 b) TX bytes:308 (308.0 b) No inet4 addr, I think it's incorrect. When I use route to see the route table, no route for tap0. So that's the problem, I can't use tcp/ip use tap0 interface. What's wrong? 1. I can't find Encapsulation - RFC 2516 PPPoE in eciadsl config, how to set it accordingly? It has only 5 options VCM_RFC2364 LLC_RFC2364 LLC_SNAP_RFC1483_BRIDGED_ETH_NO_FCS VCM_RFC_1483_BRIDGED_ETH LLC_RFC1483_ROUTED_IP VCM_RFC1483_ROUTED_IP So does the modulate config. 2. tap0 can be created , but no route via it?
