Radu Darlea commented on NXP-1720:
----------------------------------
The unit tests for WS should test the business logic implemented by the
exported API and, most important, the network communication: WSDL, SOAP
messages and availability over the net.
The Junit tests are designed to run at the compiling stage, when a deployed
server is not available. I could create an artificial "local" interface and
test only the business logic inside the server side of the WS. This wouldn't be
too much helpful, because it wouldn't either ensure the functionality of the WS
or offer an example of how to use the service.
Instead, I am thinking to adapt the WebService Client Sample as a manually
running test. One who wants to test the WS would just follow the procedures
described and observe the results of the application.
The model I am thinking of following are the tests in nuxeo-core-facade.
