Doctype not appearing in Nuxeo 5.2.1

Our application is running on 5.2 RC1. We have tried to migrate to 5.2.1 (DM)
and have issues with our doctypes. We have our code base with doctypes in
5.2RC1 and the nuxeo workspace allows us to select our doctypes on "new
document" screen. We loaded up 5.2.1 and changed Maven to depend on 5.2.1 and
the application appears to fire up fine. We can load new documents of our
doctypes with command line. When we use the GUI the doctype is not in the
list. We tried to add the book example XSD etc. and it does not show as an
option in new document. We are not sure where to check next.
