Unable to implement UID Generation

On version 5.3, I wanted to activate unique UID generation. Thus, I erase
comments on file nxuidgenerator-contrib-service.xml. Nuxeo well creates an ID
for each new document but generates an error at updating or publishing.
(Exception: java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException. message: Cannot set
property on a version: uid = File201000002).
