Under MSIE 9 the issue is because of a bug in RichFaces framework.pack 
(https://issues.jboss.org/browse/RF-9485)

h2. MSIE 8
Under MSIE 8, the problem is only visible on Windows Server versions because 
the default security settings blocks RichFaces.
(The problem is true for all Ajax4JSF stuffs, not only AdminCenter).
Putting Nuxeo server in trusted zone solves the issue.
