I wrote a FAQ:

I just read the article and I have a question about the directory where
the contribution should be placed.
Is this nuxeo.ear/contrib? Because in my application I'm using
nuxeo.ear/config. Is this something new and does it have affect the
order of loading?
And last question - if I place contribution in nuxeo.ear/config there is
limitation on the name of the files - they should end with -config or
-bundle. Is this persist in
nuxe.ear/contrib?
