          Yes, you're right, the distribution of wealth is a serious 
        problem, and it's gotten worse in America over the past 15 years.  
        But it's not confined to developed countries.  Look at Rio as an 
        example of huge separation of rich and poor in a developing 
        country.  And it's not confined to capitalism; the bureaucrats in 
        the USSR hoarded wealth like crazy.  I'm a moderate - I've come to 
        the conclusion that a mix of capitalism and socialism is needed.  
        The larger the middle class, the better.

        At the risk of sounding like a broken record, I think Eisler's 
        dominator/partnership paradigm is useful on this issue.  In 
        dominator societies, workers are motivated by fear and greed.  In a 
        partnership society, sharing and helping others is the driving 
        force.  Can we shift our economy in a partnership direction and 
        share the wealth?
