CALL FOR PAPERS
Feminist Ethics Revisited
October 1-3, 1999

The Department of Philosophy and The Ethics Center of the University of
South Florida is pleased to announce an international conference on
feminist ethics to be held October 1-3, 1999 at the Sheraton Sand Key
Resort, a beach-front hotel  in Clearwater Beach, Florida.  The
conference will be devoted to an examination of the theoretical, social,
and cultural advances in feminist ethics in the last two decades, and
will also focus on agendas for future writing, research, and activism in
feminist moral, social, legal, and political philosophy, including
feminist critique of cultural and aesthetic values.  Margaret Urban
Walker, Claudia Card, and Uma Narayan will be keynotes speakers.  We
expect to publish a volume of selected papers from the conference.

Those who wish to submit papers (20 minutes reading time) should contact

The final deadline for receipt of papers is April 15, 1999.
