Maybe in a week or so we could have some kind of vote on the question of whether 
 vegetarianism should constitute part of ecofeminist practice. I dont know how 
many people are on this list all together? I think it is an imporatant question. It 
need not imply some kind of absolutism either. Following on from, for example, the 
contextualist ethic as advocated by Warren and Adams, there would be rare 
occasions when meat-eating would be morally defensible. One may imagine a 
deserted Island scenario. Anyway what do people think of the idea of a vote?
