I would certainly hope that my perspective and those of other adventuring women would be of interest. . .I'll be happy to not only forward my adventures, but encourage others to do the same. Perhaps a second thread would prove entertaining and provide connections for future travelling companions. One book I am reading is called Maiden Voyages, which is a compilation of journals and correspondences of women who traveled to particular destinations in particular times when such independence would have been secretly revered but publicly discouraged. I can share more about the book, such as its publisher and editor(s) when I can get it back!
