Health Systems Management - Participants review and analyse the wide
range of challenges encountered in health systems management at several
levels, examining advanced techniques and strategies available for
approaching these problems and dealing with them in their various
aspects. The programme brings together senior health managers and policy
makers whose responsibilities involve allocation of resources,
development of policies and leadership, formulation of strategies, and
evaluation of feasibility studies. The program focuses on the intensive
and systematic study of critical management, planning and policy
issues faced by senior managers, and on methods of coping with the
particular health and medical environment met with in their day to day
work. The programme is suitable both for medical and non-medical
personnel in senior administrative positions.
