Hi!
Candi wrote something about women being called "Sweety" and not getting paid
what men get paid - I do not know exactly what women are up against out there
in the workforce - must be hard at times - but I do know if someone called me
'Sweety' and I did not appreciate the the name I would politely tell them not
to call me that and make sure they understand that I found the name offensive
- the problem is that some women feel that need to grin and bear it - just
speak up! As far as salary - I did hear some funny news:
"Women have finally found a way to break the glass ceiling - they own it!"
Candi - have you been in a position where you received a lesser salary then a
man merely based on the fact that you were female and he was male? Just
curious.
You are right about the butterfly scenario - I am a romantic at heart! I just
think we need something positive to bust this #### to pieces - bust out at the
seams - tell them we won't be crawling anymore - time to fly - you know what I
mean - we want a piece of the sky - we want to fly!

Hi!
Will asked me who is doing the intending - I have been using that word a lot -
I really don't know why Will - the Spirit of Creation - Will, if you created
people wouldn't you want to see them getting along - not declaring wars, not
treating each other with inequity, not abusing each other, not hurting each
other - loving each other and respecting each other instead? Especially, if
you told them to! It just seems to me that the world is fragmented and broken
- spiritually/sexually - I see a vision of unity - Chris offers one - but that
is geared more towards the Jews - aIthough it appears that Christianity would
also improve from it - just feeling that Unity vision is more Holistic more
loving for me- But Adreinne had a good point about diversity - there are many
diverse cultures and beliefs - will they ever agree on who/what created the
Earth and its inhabitants? Story at 11! Diversity is afterall the Spice of
Life - we should celebrate it! I guess when applied to different spiritual
beliefs - I just think we are talking about the some of the same spirits but
we don't know it or can't bring ourselves to agree on it. If there is a
nexxus - can we find it without giving up on each other and just saying you
believe what you want and I will believe what I want? What does that
accomplish - status quo? Does anyone else feel that way or am I reaching for
some romantic happy ending that will never come? Some spiritual concensus
that doesn't exist - Is the Earth destined for a happy ending and new
beginning in the millenium? If yes, where will that come from? Our spiritual
leaders - what can they change to make things better? Can they help change
the patriarchy so that women the equality they are entitled to and the Earth
gets more respect? I think they can because they are at the root of the
problem - reach them at the roots and then plant new seeds of understanding
that are more Holistic - Man/Woman equal/partners, etc. ..
