Nature and society in Africa and the Americas, Roman Egypt, the philosophy of experimental inference, Black film studies, nineteenth-century Spanish realism, and the Cold War are a few of the topics that college and university teachers will address this summer as participants in 23 seminars and institutes offered by the National Endowment for the Humanities.
