hi all!
I hope this mailing list's not so boring as I could see during these
days... who cares about that stupid, immature, useless quarrel? ... I'm
really perplexed...
anyway, I'd like to find someone in u.s. who wants to talk about the
cermis tragedy... does anybody know about the pilot who killed 20 people
in a cableway, cutting the cable with his airplane tale, in italy last
year? he's been declared innocent, even if he was flying under the
allowed level...
personally I think that those families deserve respect and justice: I
perfectly know that finding a guilty person won't take those people back
to life, but this was not an accident, someone took a wrong decision and
must pay for his fault. the concept of justice is the same in u.s. and
in italy...
I heard the news tonight and I learned that a lot of people in u.s. are
shocked about the court decision to declare the pilot innocent... I'm
italian, I'm concerned and I'm sure there must be a reason for this
behaviour: I don't want to believe that u.s.a.'s trying to protect a
criminal hiding itself behind nato agreements, while pointing the finger
at italy for the ocalan episode...
thank you for helping me understand... (and sorry for my English!)
best,
marta.
