Hi Ecofem,
As a Comm major I know that a paper on this media, this list and the
subject matter in particular, would make for fascinating reading.
Richard Twine (Ecofeminism on the Web) and I have been working to build
and maintain a strong web presence for Ecofem ideologies through an
Ecofeminist Web Ring. I'd like to share a new and exciting addition to
Richard's site... two articles by Franoise dEaubonne, translated by
Jacob Paisain. For those who don't know, Franoise dEaubonne is
credited for initial exploration of ecofem (extreme bravery in my
opinion) and for coining the phrase 'ecofeminism.' Chris King's web
site has more information re. dEaubonne (Voices of the Floodtide:
"What Could An Ecofem Society Be?" (dEaubonne,1990) and the more
recent, "An Open Letter to the Pope," (Franoise dEaubonne & Andre
Michel) can be found at:

Also, I would like to invite and encourage anyone on this list with a
web site dedicated to Ecofem to join the Ecofeminist Web Ring. Currently
there are 19 sites, all very diverse in their content. Each site
contributes to higher internet visibility of Ecofem and is proving to be
the catalyst for a coalition of Ecofem thinking with potential to reach
millions. It's easy to sign on:

I've missed you, glad to be back.
