I just hopped in--circa the middle of this. While people post to the
list, knowing that many they do not know will see their opinions, etc.,
it's good journalistic practice (etiquette too) to request people's
permission to use their words. If this paper is for a university class of
some kind, there's additional guidance in what many institutions have
wonderfully called the Human Studies Dept.
