Lesson One

Never Challenge the big guns on this list (one of them being Mr Chris
King) and show annoyance when a patriarchal male on the list
apologises on your behalf and on the behalf of another feminist.
THis patriarch then denies the his patriarchal motives and places a
heavily qualified apology (really not an apology) on the list.
He then partakes in abusive and crazy-making attacks on the other
feminist by criticising her postings but send in her a pretty poem on
the list which seems awfully strange (has anyone studied the cycle of
abuse?) . As for Joe Dees, his attacks on Nicole on this list were
disgusting. I choose to go back to the real world where I fight on the
front line to save the environment. I will not waste my time further
trying to explain why feminists should never submit to
patriarchs or bullying tactics by males (as seen on this list).
Good luck to all

Dear GS,The message below is not appropriate on ECOFEM; it breaches
the protocol. Please take personal disputes off the list and refrain
from sending "flames" or personal attacks to the whole list. This is
your first warning. Upon the third warning, I will remove you from the

Well thank you for informing us all of this - a fact of which I was not
aware.

I contribute to several mailing lists on different subjects and it is
made perfectly clear on these mailing lists that it is politeness to
inform the subscribers if one wishes to use the information and dialogue
contributed to the list by them. I notice that you place lengthy and
detailed responses to the list whereas others write more
casually. Perhaps if we are all now aware that significance is being
given to what we write, we would also be writing in more detail - giving
more details and references as we chose.
>Ecosystems do not have MANNERS, although they do have symbiosis.
You are confused. This is not an Ecosystem but a mailing list.
>I encourage any person on ecofem to use our conversations freely
without permission.
You are giving people permission to reproduce MY conversations without
at least notifying me politely that they wish to do so?
Does this smack of patriarchy or what? Perhaps MR KING should find a
list more suitable for patriarchal males and leave ECo-fem to true
feminists of the female gender. Don't we have enough male intervention
and domination in everyday life without having the same crap on an
ECO-FEM list?
>I agree with Kristina and apologise to Teri on Ginger and Jessica's
account.
MR KING you have no right to apologise on my behalf or on the behalf of
anyone else. How disgustingly patriarchal and patronising of a
male to be spelling out to females how he determines they should think
and act. GET A LIFE!
