Priority areas include slowing the introduction and spread of harmful invasive species, and using ecosystem service values to strengthen conservation policies. Applicants should have demonstrable scientific and/or policy expertise in one of these areas, a broad understanding of the scientific and policy aspects of biological resource issues, and a facility for communicating technical information to general audiences. Position requires Ph.D. in relevant discipline, strong project management experience, writing and public speaking skills, and occasional travel. Experience with public outreach and national or regional biological resource policy highly desirable. Position is likely to be based in our Cambridge headquarters; a Washington, DC base may also be considered. Review of applications begins March 1.
