It's within 500 votes in Florida. This is NOT over, Al Gore has retracted his concession. This automatically puts it into an automatic recount under Florida state law and a number of precincts absentee votes are being recounted ahead of time, due to discrepencies in the vote count. Al Gore is projected to win the popular vote, but may lose the Electoral College to George Wuss Bush.
