Students apply to and enroll at a university and complete the degree requirements of the school, but have full access to the staff, facilities, and research opportunities available at the New York Botanical Garden. NYBG is particularly seeking applicants interested in the spatial ecology and biogeography of global change issues, including the spread of invasive species, climate change, and land-use change. This research would be part of the new Center for Conservation and Restoration Ecology<https://www.nybg.org/plant-research-and-conservation/science-programs/center-for-conservation-strategy/>, which aims to expand the ecological expertise and applied mission of the New York Botanical Garden.
