Hafa adai everyone, The Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands Division of Fish and Wildlife has two full-time biologist/ornithologist positions available.
One position is focused on developing bioacoustics methods for monitoring bird populations on remote CNMI islands, as well as planning and conducting translocations for threatened and endangered birds (link here <https://jobs.rwfm.tamu.edu/view-job/?id=99498>). The other position is focused on coordinating a study on Mariana Common Moorhen population dynamics and nesting ecology, as well as coordinating a large set of point count surveys designed to monitor the status of bird populations on the southern islands of the CNMI (link here <https://jobs.rwfm.tamu.edu/view-job/?id=99451>). Both positions have field and office components, substantial recruitment benefits, and require master's degrees. Salary is commensurate with experience. The application deadline is November 25th.
