Washington University in St. Louis invites applications for TWO 
Postdoctoral Fellowships in ECOLOGY to be based at the Tyson Research 
Center, a 2,000-acre tract of land located 20 miles from campus.  Start 
date is flexible, but preferably no later than Jan. 1, 2007.  Each fellow 
will be responsible for: (1) developing a research program in 
collaboration with one or more Washington University ecologists (Dr. Jon 
Chase, Dr. Tiffany Knight, Dr. Ellen Damschen [starting summer 2007], Dr. 
John Orrock [starting summer 2007]).  Preferred research topics include: 
plant-animal interactions, metacommunity and spatial ecology, invasive 
plant ecology, freshwater ecology, ecology at the land-water interface, 
biodiversity, conservation and restoration ecology; (2) Coordinating 
undergraduate research opportunities at the Center; (3) teach one upper-
level course during the school year.  This is a twelve-month appointment
