Greetings:

I am in search of major (i.e., classical or important recent) references
dealing with community assembly rules. I am especially interested in those
studies where the ecological characteristics (guild membership,
microhabitat specialization, body size, etc.) of incoming species play a
role in determining the success of assembly.

I apologize for sending such a simple request for sources to the listserv,
but I do not have access to SCI or Biological Abstracts, and I do not
regularly access such papers and journals in my research (Paleozoic
paleoecology).

Any assistance would be appreciated. If there is broad interest, I'd be
glad to post the bibliography.

Sincerely,
Phil
