Greetings: I am in search of major (i.e., classical or important recent) references dealing with community assembly rules. I am especially interested in those studies where the ecological characteristics (guild membership, microhabitat specialization, body size, etc.) of incoming species play a role in determining the success of assembly.
I apologize for sending such a simple request for sources to the listserv, but I do not have access to SCI or Biological Abstracts, and I do not regularly access such papers and journals in my research (Paleozoic paleoecology). Any assistance would be appreciated. If there is broad interest, I'd be glad to post the bibliography.
