A graduate research assistant (PhD or MS) position is available starting in September, 2007 studying the effect of invasive plant species on soil properties and processes. Candidates seeking the position should have a background in soils and knowledge of invasive plant ecology. A successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently. A generous stipend is provided in addition to a tuition waver in the Department of Environmental and Plant Biology at Ohio University.
