I am an M Sc. student at the Blaustein Institutes for Desert Research.

My research is about acorns and seedlings establishment of the Oak
*Quercus*calliprinos.

The broader scope of my study is establishment limitations in native
Mediterranean woody species colonization within man-planted conifer
forests. I am interested to test the effects of: 1. predation
2.differentmicro-habitats 3. the interaction between them,
on the establishment of oak seedlings

I would like to analyse both survival by following the fate of an individual
seedling and the rate of survivval or establishment, thus I am considering
both Logit and ANOVA analyses.
I would like to ask

What will be the different considerations in setting an experiment that
would be analyzed with GRM - Logit versus an experiment that would be
analyzed with ANOVA - General Linear Models

What will be the different design for each analysis and could I use the same
experimental design for both analyses?

Thank you,

Looking forward to receiving your answers,
