The Global Climate Change and Sustainable Development Initiative at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee will be hosting a conference addressing Climate Change and Sustainable Development, to be held April 24-25, 2008 at the DoubleTree Hotel, Milwaukee, Wisc.
This conference will discuss the global issue of climate change in the regional context of Wisconsin and the Great Lakes. It will feature presentations and discussions across many disciplines, focusing on implications of climate changes for the region and potential practical solutions. The conference aims to reach a broader audience beyond the academic community, including business, government, and other community members in the region that are involved in activities relevant to climate change.
