Job Announcement: Research Biologist (Limnology, Quantitative Ecology) British Columbia, Canada
The successful candidate will lead a limnological research group based at the Cultus Lake Salmon Research Laboratory, a science facility of Fisheries & Oceans Canada in British Columbia, approximately 100 kms from Vancouver. Research will focus on assessing the productive capacity and limiting factors of sockeye salmon nursery lakes in British Columbia. The position will lead or be involved in multidisciplinary research projects on a wide variety of B.C. lakes. The position will also be responsible for ongoing maintenance and analysis of an extensive limnological database. Responsibilities will include providing advice to both internal and external clients, and publishing results of the research.
