Positions:                 (4) FOREST FUELS AND STAND DYNAMICS RESEARCH 
TECHINICIANS
 
Position Description:  Collect forest fuels and vegetation data on forests with 
different management 
                                histories in southern Missouri.

Qualifications:          Applicants should have experience in field data 
collection methods, but not 
                              required.  Working toward or have completed an 
undergraduate degree in natural 
                              resources preferred.
 
Experience to be gained: Forest fuels sampling methods (Browns lines), forest 
inventory, species ID, GPS 
                             use, forestry photographic methods, orienteering.

Requirements:          Position will be based out of southern Missouri.  
Applicants will be required to 
                               live in southern Missouri during the work week, 
housing provided.

Pay:                        $10/hr, food cost reimbursed for work week
 
Dates:                     Positions begin 5/19/08, end 8/22/08
