Dear Colleagues,

The deadline for abstract submission and lodging reservations for the August
8-13, 2008 Comparative Nutrition Society symposium is just one week away.
Please make sure that you have submitted your abstract and contacted the
lodge regarding room reservations by June 15th.

We have three very exciting Plenary Speakers for the Symposium (in order of
presentations):

Dr. Ian Hume, University of Sydney and Honorary Life Member of CNS, will
commemorate the life and work of C. Edward Stevens

Dr. David Raubenheimer, University of Auckland, will speak on development of
geometric models of nutrition

Dr. Kendall Clements, University of Auckland, will speak on nutrition in
marine herbivorous fishes with a focus on the relationships between
different diets and disparate digestive mechanisms, including
gastrointestinal fermentation

Please see our website http://www.cnsweb.org/ to register, reserve lodging,
and submit abstracts. Students should click on "Student competitions" for
information on travel and presentation awards.

Seeing you in August!
