Postdoctoral Scientist Position -- Ecology and Evolution of Plant-Animal Interactions
Creative and enthusiastic candidates are invited to apply for a Postdoctoral Scientist position to work on the ecology and evolution of multispecies plant-animal interactions at Dartmouth College in the lab of Rebecca Irwin. Previous field and lab experience in one or more of the following fields is essential: bee taxonomy, chemical ecology, population modeling, evolutionary ecology, or ecosystem ecology. Because funding for this position is derived from several sources, the selected candidate will have flexibility in developing a specific project. The position will be based at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH, but will also include significant field work in either New England, North Carolina, or Colorado (depending on the specific project the candidate works on). The target start date is winter, spring, or early summer 2009 (earlier is better). The position is for one year with the opportunity for renewal.
