I am looking for well qualified students who are interested in perusing a 
PhD in plant ecology.  PhD studentships are available within the Geography 
Department at Loughborough University to start 1st October 2009.  These 
awards cover home tuition fees and a stipend for living expenses 
(approximately equivalent to UK Research Council stipends - currently c. 
£13k per annum).

I am particularly interested in hearing from students who are interested in 
pursuing projects in the ecology of carnivorous plants or nutrient dynamics 
in forests.
