It is with great pleasure that the Centre for Forest Research (CFR, CEF in French) invites you to attend its 3rd Annual Conference. This event will be held on April 19th and 20th 2009, at the Hilton Lac-Leamy Hotel in Gatineau, Québec.
The keynote speaker is *Vic Adamowicz* , Canada Research Chair (Environmental Economics), Associate Dean and Professor of forest economics in the Department of Rural Economy, University of Alberta. He has also received the Canadian Forestry Scientific Achievement Award from the Canadian Institute of Forestry in 2004. Professor Adamowicz will talk about *The Challenge of Biodiversity Conservation in Forests: Can Markets for Ecosystem Services Help?* on monday April 20th at 3pm.
