The State Department is inviting nominations for the Franklin Fellows
Program. The nomination deadline is open ended. This program provides
a unique opportunity for mid career professionals who are U.S.
citizens to work in the State Department serving as consultants to
agencies dealing with issues such as international security, trade,
terrorism, AIDS, and promoting the environment. Past fellows have
worked on stabilization and reconstruction in Iraq, African food
security, Islam and the Middle East, and environmental/chemical
challenges. Remuneration for the Fellowship would be derived from
