The University of St. Thomas seeks a Postdoctoral Associate to work with Dr. Kyle Zimmer (Biology Department) and Dr. Kevin Theissen (Geology Department) on a research project funded by the National Science Foundation.
The successful candidate will collaborate on a project examining carbon burial in shallow Minnesota lakes. Duties will include assisting with field and lab work, mentoring undergraduate research projects, and preparation of manuscripts. The position is available to start January 1, 2010 and will last for 30 months from the date of hire. This is a benefit eligible position with a salary of $35,000 per year.
