Post-doctoral Research Position. Post-doctoral research position with the Colorado Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit and Department of Fish, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology at Colorado State University to work closely with USGS Patuxent Wildlife Research Center. Minimum: Ph.D. in biology (wildlife), ecology, or related quantitative field. Knowledge of principles and methods of Bayesian analysis including experience with Markov chain Monte Carlo methods or software for conducting MCMC simulations. Demonstrated proficiency with statistical software including Splus or R and WinBUGS. Demonstrated desire and proficiency to publish in the peer-reviewed literature. Salary of $45,000 per year plus benefits.
